The latest chapter of the supernatural manga series "Tokyo Ghoul:re" continues with the latest attacks on CCG. Furuta offers some help and advice on how to protect the headquarters but things are not what it seems because of the attackers.
Chapter 105 Recap
Chapter 105 of "Tokyo Ghoul:re" can be read online in Manga Stream. The chapter starts with an unexpected attack of clowns in a festival and CCG were immediately called into action to prevent further attacks and casualties. Clowns attacked the festival using balloons with bombs inside.
While a group of CCG neutralize the attack, others in HQ are handling synchronized clown attacks in various wards. Furuta as part of CCG, offers advice on the possible next target of clowns. As the investigators fight in different wards, Ui and Matsuri are now forced to protect the main office now surrounded by clowns.
Furuta walks away revealing that he does not have any intention in helping CCG. The chapter ends with Kaneki and others showing up in 22nd ward with the intention of fighting the ghoul investigators.

Reactions on the latest chapter on Reddit mainly focuses on the clowns coordinated attack on the CCG. Furuta at first looks like he really wanted to help the CCG fight against clowns but since his quick ascent to the ranks of Washuu organization, he is consolidating his power and he is still part of clowns. It's possible that Furuta will lead the attack against CCG or wipe out its leaders so he could become the head of the investigators.
But Furuta's rise to power will not be easy because the arrival of Kaneki and the rest of the group will come to challenge the clowns. Although their goal is to fight or at least talk to CCG, they will stop Furuta knowing his true in leading CCG and Washuu organization.
