While "Ark: Survival Evolved" is a very promising game even in its developmental stage for the PS4, PC and Xbox One, developer Snail Games couldn't help but create a tie-in to the game, a virtual reality (VR) experience based game called "Ark Park."

According to Gamespot, the game allows you to virtually visit a Jurassic Park-like compound full of prehistoric and exotic creatures. "Ark Park" gives you the experience to finally embark on journeys to a numerous variety of biomes, where everyone can get a chance to see and interact with dinosaurs and other extinct species alive and well (like the Dodo bird as shown in the trailer). In the VR game, you can travel on foot, or drive a vehicle, or even better yet, ride on the back of a prehistoric beast! These journeys or adventures are called "Excursions," where you can play either with friends online or solo.

Another notable thing other than just exploring and discovering new locations and creatures is collecting "Gene Cubes" that are scattered around the world for players to add creatures to their libraries. "Determined visitors will need to use a combination of puzzle-solving logic, action skills, exploration, and careful resource management to bag the most prized animals," according to a post by Snail Games said on the PlayStation Blog.

Upon collecting the Gene Cubes, you can go back and check Ark Park's Hub world where it is uploaded and stored for you to read on information about the creatures collected. Many of the creatures found in the world are usually wild and vicious, but upon getting the Gene Cubes, you can upload the tame and peaceful versions of them in a petting where they be fed and interacted with. The petting zoo can also grant options to customize the creatures too, such as their color.

With "Ark Park" being a tie-in to the "Survival Evolved" and its expansion, "Scorched Earth," you can even upload creatures from those games and add them into Ark Park's petting zoo roster.

You can even use a selfie stick to take a snapshot of the creatures collected.

"Ark Park" is scheduled to launch in 2017 for PlayStation VR, alongside the other VR platforms HTC Vive and Oculus Rift.
