Among the many celebrities that have joined that Gwanghwamun protests against president Park Geun Hye include former f(x) member Sulli and Dynamic Duo rapper Choiza.  The couple was spotted during Dec. 10 wave of the rally.

Choiza posted a photo on his Instagram showing Choiza's girlfriend Sulli and him attending the candle-lit protests. He captioned the photo "Love is everywhere," Koreaboo reported. The couple joined an estimated 800,000 people who attended the protest.

Aside from Sulli and Choiza, many other celebrities also took part in the anti-president protests that seek the impeachment of Park Geun Hye following the massive political scandal she is embroiled in. It was revealed in October this year that Park's aide, Choi Soon Sil, took advantage of her position to funnel money from business conglomerates into two foundations Park controlled. It was also said that Choi greatly interfered with Park's personal life and her work, so much so that he reportedly influence with policies of the state council.

Actor Yoo Ah In joined the protests on Nov. 19 together with his Studio Concrete crew. Singer-actor Lee Joon also participated in the protests and actively called on others to join the movement through various Instagram posts. "At times like these, we have to unify our strength," Lee Joon said in one post.

Wonder Girls' member Yeeun also took part in the protests on Nov. 26. A photo she posted on Instagram shows her holding an LED to symbolize her unity with the cause, Soompi reported.

Meanwhile, comedian Kim Je Dong, aside from attending the Gwanghwamun protests, was also spotted in Park's hometown of Daegu. There, Kim and 30,000 other protesters called for Park's criminal prosecution.

Citing the Korean Constitution, Kim said that the president can face criminal prosecution in cases of rebellion or treason. Many have considered the political scandal an act of treason on Park's part.

Currently, Park Geun Hye is suspended from office after 234 members of the 300-member National Assembly voted in favor of her impeachment. South Korean Prime Minister Hwang Kyo Ahn is currently sitting as acting president.
