"Rebirth" actress Kat Foster and "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back" actor Patrick Heusinger is in talks to star in indie "Accommodations." Amy Miller Gross will write and helm her directorial debut.
According to Variety, Foster will play as Edie Somner while Heusinger as Jake Somner in "Accommodations." Other cast members include Deborah Rush (Victoria Maason), Mark Linn-Baker (Eugene Beltzer), Larisa Oleynik (Natalie), Scott Rodgers (Zev Barnaby), John Sharian (Vital Vekselberg), and Haley Rawson (Alexis).
"Accommodations" follows an affluent Manhattan couple (Foster and Heusinger). They rent out their recently-renovated loft to a slew of colorful characters while they explore a more meaningful life together.
Andrew Carlberg will produce "Accommodations" alongside Gross and Scott Rodgers. He recently produced Jennifer Morrison's feature directorial debut "Sun Dogs" and previously collaborated with Rodgers and Foster in the 2015 comedic film "The Dramatics."
Foster will also star as the female lead opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme in Amazon's new comedy pilot series "Jean-Claude Van Johnson," Deadline reported. She plays the fellow secret international operative Vanessa while Van Damme as undercover private contractor Jean-Claude Johnson.
"Jean-Claude Van Johnson" focuses on Johnson trying to spin back heel kick his way back into Vanessa's life, deliberately getting himself assigned to her new mission in Bulgaria. It is written by "Godzilla" David Callaham and directed by "Key & Peele" Peter Atencio. It is slated to begin production in mid-May in Los Angeles.
Foster has played leads on comedy series "Til Death" and "Your Family Or Mine." She most recently filmed a lead role in the indie "Rebirth." She is represented by Paradigm, Management 360, attorney James Adams, and Schreck Rose Dapello & Adams.
Heusinger was most recently seen in "Jack Reacher: Never Go Back," alongside Tom Cruise. He was also recently seen in Hulu's "Casual" and Bravo's "Girlfriend's Guide to Divorce." He is represented by Gersh and Industry Entertainment.
"Accommodations" just started production in New York City.
