After showing her support to anti-Park Geun Hye protesters, Kim Yoo Jung has been receiving backlash from the followers of Korean president amid political gaffe in the country.
According to Allkpop, a fan club called Park-Sa-Mo fired at the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" actress for her Instagram post against President Park. A member of the leader's fan club expressed her infuriation towards Kim for her post encouraging her followers to protest against the Korean president.
"Kim Yoo Jung criticized President Park Geun Hye. I am so angry. As a young student, what does she know about politics? I liked Kim Yoo Jung from watching her dramas because she seemed like a nice girl," the netizen wrote.
It went on, "But from now, I will boycott anything she promotes. It would be great if everyone in Park-Sa-Mo could boycott as well. You watch out, Kim Yoo Jung."
Other members of the Park-Sa-Mo fan club even called Kim with nasty names, stating the "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" star is not a popular actress. Meanwhile, Kim has remained tight-lipped amid backlash for political post.
Kim debuted as a child actress at the age of 4. She received Best Child Actress awards for her roles on "Iljimae," "Dong Yi," "Flames Of Desire" and "The Grudge: The Revolf Of Gumiho."
The actress became famous after joining the lineup of "Moon Embracing The Sun" in 2012. However, Kim's first adult role was Hong Ra On on "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds." Her character was the on-screen partner of Park Bo Gum in the drama, Soompi cited.
Kim even shared she was even worried about her role on "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds," considering her young age. "Truthfully, when I was filming [the kiss scene], I was more worried about the uniform I was wearing than the kiss itself," the actress said.
