Anne Curtis will be launching her first children's book for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Philippines, titled "Anita The Duckling Diva." The actress also talked about her upcoming movie with "No Other Woman" director Ruel Bayani set to premiere this 2016.

The "It's Showtime" host shared that she personally wrote the book, which will be launched on her birthday, February 17, alongside other UNICEF books. Curtis invited her 4.3 million Instagram followers to attend the launch. She also shared a photo with illustrator Tiago Abalos and her writing mentor Augie Rivera.

According to Tempo, "Anita The Duckling Diva" tells the story of how a duckling was able to overcome her shyness with the help from her family and friends.

The "Blood Diamond" actress shared that the book will be a perfect read for kids ages 4 years old and above. She also encouraged everyone to grab a copy, adding that proceeds will help UNICEF in their ongoing projects.

Meanwhile, Curtis admitted that she had to turn down a primetime series for "It's Showtime." In an interview with Manila Bulletin, the actress shared that she was offered to do a soap but had to turn it down because she did not want to leave the noontime show.

Curtis said that when she was doing "Dyesebel," she had to miss several shows because of her hectic schedule. She added that she enjoys being a part of "It's Showtime" because it doesn't feel like work at all. She added that her tight friendship with her co-hosts definitely influenced her decision to decline the soap.

The actress, however, admitted that she misses acting. While her television career may be taking the backseat, Curtis shared that fans will still get to see her on the big screen this 2016.

She revealed that she started shooting for a film with Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador. Curtis hinted that her reunion movie with Bayani is something that fans should not dare miss. While the actress refused to reveal further details on the film's plot, many speculated that it will be a steamy love triangle, very similar to "No Other Woman."
