Kanye West admitted himself into the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles last week due to mental exhaustion. While Kanye is in the hospital under close medical care, Kim is holding her own and holding things down while supporting Kanye, standing by his side like he did for her when she needed support, according to a close source.
According to Page Six, Kanye spent the Thanksgiving holiday in the hospital with Kim at his side for a few hours before she went off to spend Thanksgiving dinner with her sisters and mother. Kanye's doctor said he will be under medical care for a few more days. Apparently, he is mentally exhausted from touring, working his fashion and sneaker line, and thinking about the anniversary of his mother's death that came around on November 10. He has been thinking of his mother, Donda West who died from heart disease as well as complications from the surgeries she went under for a breast reduction and liposuction she had done in Los Angeles. She died November 10, 2007 and Kanye is still grieving.
According to E! Online, Kim K was scheduled to make her first public appearance at the Angel Ball in New York City. This is where her late father was to be honored. This would have been her first public appearance since she was robbed in Paris. However, because of her husband signing himself into the hospital, she cancelled, at the last minute, to stand by his side and to support him as he did for her.
Page Six also reports that during an interview last year, he is also feeling guilty and blaming himself for his mother's death. Although he was born and raised in Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles to start his music career, therefore becoming the famous rapper and music producer he is now. He said if he hadn't moved to Los Angeles, and if his mother wouldn't have started managing his career, she would still be alive today. Kanye is not only still grieving but he is also feeling guilty about bringing his mother on to help him with his career.
Kim K has been doing everything she can to support her man, standing by his side while he is getting the much needed rest he needs to get over the mental exhaustion he is feeling right now.
