Just like most of the fans, a former member of H.O.T was surprised when Moon Hee Jun announced he is getting married to Crayon Pop's Soyul.
On the same day of the announcement, H.O.T's Kangta talked about Moon's engagement on "Kangta's Starry Night." The former member said he was surprised upon learning about the news, admitting that he has no knowledge Moon and Soyul were seeing each other, Soompi cited.
"A lot of people are talking about Moon Hee Jun's marriage news. I can't just stay quiet about it, but I never dreamed this would happen," he said in the radio show.
Kangta continued, "I didn't even know they were dating, let alone getting married. Personally, I am very happy for the couple."
The former H.O.T member added Moon and Soyul look good together despite the age gap. Kangta also revealed Moon messaged him about the engagement prior to his radio show, adding that the co-member seemed worried about the big day.
"We're planning to get together soon so I can congratulate him in person. Since I'm the lead vocalist, I will sing the wedding song if he wants me to," Kangta added.
Meanwhile, fans expressed their astonishment on Moon and Soyul's engagement announcement. Many of them were blown away, stating that they did not even know when did the couple started dating, Allkpop reported.
"The most random engagement I have heard in a while, but just shows we really have no clue what's going on with idols. Congrats to them and many blessings," a netizen posted.
Despite being surprised with Moon and Soyul's engagement, most of the fans send their congratulatory message to the couple. Reports claimed Moon and Soyul will tie the know in February 2017.
