"The Big Bang Theory" season 9 cast member Kunal Nayyar recently shared five reasons why he thinks his fans should read his book "Yes, My Accent Is Real."
In an interview with AOL, Nayyar said that one of the reasons why people should read his book is because his accent is real, and this is something that they can hear in the audio book. Unfortunately, the audio book is sold at a separate price.
Additionally, Nayyar said that buying and reading his book would mean that you will find out that he played badminton when he was still a young boy.
The funnyman clarified that he did not just play badminton in her grandmother's backyard. Rather, he played like an actual sport.
"You will learn that I played badminton. When I mean badminton, I don't mean the sport that you played in your grandmother's backyard. I mean real badminton that you play with a shuttlecock," he said.
Meanwhile, another reason why fans should read Nayyar's book is because he was in a band, and details about this will be revealed in his memoir.
"I was in a band and we are an emo band. Emo is an emotional band and it was called Prince and the Pauper. I was the prince because I called dibs. I don't wanna be the pauper," he joked.
"You will learn that my first audition that I had in Los Angeles was in the basement of an Apple store... I auditioned on iChat," he said.
Nayyar added that his first audition was a blast especially since there were at least 20 people taking his pictures while he was cried during his monologue. Not surprisingly, he landed the role he auditioned for.
Lastly, Nayyar also talked about his wedding, and said that it was attended by a thousand people. The actor added that his wedding cost so much, and that's the reason why he decided to write a book so it could help with his finances.
Obviously, the actor was just joking because he's receiving a reasonable amount of income from his portrayal of Raj on "The Big Bang Theory."
