"Elementary" Season 4 episode 9 will see Det. Sherlock Holmes (Johnny Lee Miller) and Dr. Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) work on a high-profile murder case. In Episode 8, Joan and Sherlock solved the murder of a pregnant woman, who was discovered suffocated in her car. Initially, woman's husband is thought to be the killer. Later, however, it is discovered that woman's brother had killed her for violating their agreement that stopped the brother and the sister from having children in order to finish their father's lineage.
At the same time, Joan helped sergeant Bell to study for his promotion exam. This leaves Sherlock disturbed and unsettled.
Moving on to Episode 9. According to Spoiler TV's description for "Murder Ex Machina," three people are found dead in New York City but only one person is responsible for it. One of the victims is a Russian billionaire who was on tour to the city.
The murderer is identified as a computer hacker. Joan and Sherlock must find out the connection between the three murders. Will they be able to reach the killer?
Meanwhile, Joan has a surprise in store but it may not be something she expected. Sherlock's father Morland invites Joan for a dinner and it will be just two of them. What does Morland want from Joan? What is he up to? Details about Morland's plan regarding Joan and Sherlock are not revealed. Fans will have to wait until the show goes on air.
