"Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" star Donnie Yen recently talked about his role in the upcoming movie "Ip Man 3."

In an interview with the New York Daily News, the actor revealed that fans will see him engaging in a lot of activities and tasks in the upcoming movie.

"I can tell you that I will be kicking butt a little bit - that is something I believe that they're clever about. Instead of just having me in there riding around in a Y-wing or an X-wing and shooting laser beams, they've got to have me do something," he said.

Meanwhile, Yen also dished on what it was like working with his co-star Mike Tyson.

"When I fight him on screen, I told myself I had to have a backup plan because if something goes wrong, I'm going to get killed. He's coming at me like a train," he said.

Yen also revealed that he almost risked his life while filming one of his scenes that was choreographed by Yuen Woo-Ping.

"He kept saying, 'Faster, faster, closer, closer!' Then the blade came so close it was shaving the beard on my face. The handle, which was metal scraped the skin and flesh off the bridge of my nose. I ended up closing the wound and putting on a spray between takes to stop the bleeding," he said.

In other news, Yen also spoke about how the movie industry has changed over time since he first started working as an actor in Hong Kong.

The 52-year-old said that during his time, filmmakers and actors were not given as much freedom as they are being given at the moment.

"Now, I think the film industry has changed a lot. But during that time, as a Hong Kong filmmaker specializing in these types of action, we were not given a lot of creative freedom," he said.
