Hugh Jackman is going out as Wolverine with a big bang as he ends his stint with the movie "Logan." While the plot of the film has yet to be announced, fans are anticipating the gritty adaptation of the comic book "Old Man Logan" in the big screen.

High Jackman's Wolverine character is coming to an end and his portrayal as the nearly indestructible hero will not go out with a whimper. According to E! Online, the final film of Jackman as the gritty X-Men will end with "Logan" and its set for worldwide release on March 3 next year. The recently released poster for the upcoming film provides the superhero's struggles in the upcoming film.

For the unfamiliar, "Old Man Logan" is a comic book series that ran for eight issues. In the comic book, the clawed hero is no longer using the name Wolverine and the world is by super villains. As one of the few surviving superheroes, the superhero has to deal with his past while working hard to protect everyone that he loves.

The latest poster released for the upcoming film did not reveal much. According to Inverse, the poster shows the hand of Logan with claws out holding the hand of a small child. At first sight, the poster did not say much but to those familiar with the storyline of "Old Man Logan" it has a lot of implications especially when you consider that this is Jackman's final stint as the clawed superhero.

Those familiar with the comic book series depicting an aged Wolverine with a hand could mean a lot of things. In the comic book series, the superhero comes across with more than one child - his own and the child of Bruce Banner or the overwhelmingly powerful Hulk. The movie's storyline will most likely depend which child Wolverine would have to protect or avenge for as he ends his stint as one of the grittiest superhero ever.

The move is set for release on March 3 next year and it's going to be released rated R. Fans of the superhero is in for a subtle but a gritty superhero who takes care of business with more than just his claws.
