Capcom has been marketing their demo of the latest title for the "Resident Evil" series over the course of several months. "Resident Evil 7" demo was described to be beautiful and terrifying at the same time with the demo showcasing a different approach to the well-known survival horror series. The demo was updated, albeit only slightly with a few expanded moments, and it may be possible that before the game's actual release, there may be one more demo set for release.

According to a post of NeoGaf, a representative of the French branch of Capcom may have slightly revealed some information unintentionally on a possibility of another update of the "Resident Evil 7" demo before the full game will be released. The representative mentioned that the demo may be released early on 2017 (maybe around January).

So far, these are just the mentioned possibilities about the demo. There hasn't been any detail on what it will add to the demo. So far the changes that have been applied from the last update were doors that are locked, ammo with no gun to go with, and a dummy finger attached to a celluloid hand.

Previously, IGN tackled the other changes made to the "Resident Evil 7" demo from the last update. Besides the locked doors, ammo, and dummy finger and hand, the attic has been expanded; a new key has been found (although, the item has no use yet so far), a wall written in red ink was also part of the changes; a new phone message once the player picks it up; and a new end card.

It was also revealed by Capcom that the full game would allow players complete in a standard length of 15 hours in their first playthrough. Playing it in VR would even double that, however, due to the fact there may be additional content or the actual horrific environment might render the players a little slower.

Resident Evil 7 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Jan. 24th, 2017.
