In a semifinal episode of "America's Got Talent" on Aug. 30, 11 semifinalists took the stage to show what they've got to make it to the finals. While their exceptional talents brought them to the semifinals, only five of them will move forward to the next round, while the six others will bow down from the show.

The first to take the stage was Sal Valentinetti who performed Frank Sinatra's "That's Life." The 21-year-old contestant, who has always expressed his admiration to the popular musical artist, said he tries to use his personality while performing onstage.

"It's good to be able to channel Frank and be that guy up there. That's the same guy I am. Frank was a confident, larger than life person, and I try to be the same style of entertainer," Valentinetti told Billboard.

The next to perform was Blake Vogt who certainly impressed the judges with his magic tricks. After him was Edgar with their rendition of "Bless The Broken Road" by Rascal Flatts. Following the family band was a powerful "Born This Way" performance from Musicality.

Taking the stage of "America's Got Talent" as the fifth act to perform was Deadly Games with their jaw-dropping performance, while Tape Face did not fail the audience with their genius act. On the other hand, judges were left in awe after former NFL player Jon Dorenbos performed his magic acts.

Meanwhile, Lori Mae Hernandez was the eighth artist to perform with her witty and funny jokes about Hollywood celebrities, the Olympics and even the judges of "America's Got Talent." The teen comic even garnered praises from Simon Cowell who branded her as "edgy and fearless," Fox News reported.

After a good laugh was a sensational performance from Malevo. Next to the group was Grace VanderWaal who has once again impressed the judges with an original song. Finally, opera singer Laura Bretan got a standing ovation from the judges for yet another moving performance.

On Aug. 31, "America's Got Talent" announced the five contestants who will proceed to the final round of the show. These finalists include Grace VandrWaal, Sal Valentinetti, Jon Dorenbos, Tape Face and Laura Bretan.

Congratulations to the finalists and see you in the final round of "America's Got Talent."
