"Mechanic: Resurrection" star Jason Statham recently discussed doing his own stunts for the film and praised his co-star Jessica Alba.

Statham stars as the infamous hit man Arthur Bishop in the movie. Statham is known for his intense fight scenes that he did without the benefit of a stunt double.

Talking about heights, the actor revealed that he is used to heights and is actually impressed by an extreme sport known as wingsuit flying.

"I think you have to get used to heights. You know, I'm not used to certain types of heights. But I don't really get sort of a vertigo feeling. I've always been impressed by those, those wing suits, sort of close proximity flyers," he told Screen Rant.

One thing that comes with his adventurous spirit to do his own stunts is the fair share of stunt injuries that comes with doing it. To this, Statham said that that while doing the film, he did hurt some parts of his body that did not heal as quickly as he had hoped.

"I mean you always get hurt, I tweaked my neck pretty bad. I can remember my shoulder wasn't doing too good, my lower back wasn't doing [very well]. Things don't heal as quick as you want them, you know?" he said.

As for her co-star Jessica Alba who played his character's love interest in the film, the actor has no words but praises for the actress, People reported. Statham also went to say that Alba was actually responsible for a lot of strong changes to the character.

"She's a real sweetheart and she's a really serious actress that takes her part very seriously - and she likes to have a lot of fun," he said.

"Mechanic: Resurrection" is now showing in theaters.
