Song-Song couple continues to prove their closeness as Song Hye Kyo sent gifts to her "Descendants Of The Sun" co-star Song Joong Ki on the set of the actor's upcoming film "Battleship Island."

The generous act was confirmed by company Coffee Pong when they uploaded a photo of the coffee truck sent by Hye Kyo to Joong Ki and the "Battleship Island" staff, Soompi reported. The 34-year-old actress also extended her words of encouragement to the whole cast and crew of the upcoming film saying, "Song Joong Ki, "Battleship Island" Staff, Stay Strong!"

According to the coffee truck company, it was their fourth time to visit the set of "Battleship Island," sharing that the production continues to roll day and night. In the Instagram post, Coffee Pong also thanked Hye Kyo for choosing their brand for her treats to her "Descendants Of The Sun" co-star. Aside from that, the company is also grateful for Joong Ki's humility for always taking the time to greet them face-to-face.

"Actress Song Hye Kyo, an angel to the bone, called Coffee Pong for actor Song Joong Ki and the staff who are working hard. Even today many staff members we sweating like it was raining," Coffee Pong wrote.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Joong Ki had to end his series of fan meetings when the filming of "Battleship Island" started last June 17, Asia Times noted. For the upcoming film, the "Descendants Of The Sun" star will share the big screen with actors Hwang Jung Min and So Ji Sub.

Joong Ki's upcoming film will revolve around the story of 400 Joseon people who risked their lives to get away from Hashima Island or Battleship Island where they were forced to work during the Japanese colonial era. The actor will play the role of Park Moo Young who is a member of the Korean Independence group. "Battleship Island" reportedly will hit the theaters sometime in 2017.
