Angelina Jolie will stay as a professor at the London School of Economics despite rumors that she will take her teaching prowess to Georgetown University.

Jolie can now add to her curriculum vitae, "Professor" as one of her professions. The "Tomb Raider" star will remain at the London School of Economics to teach a year of Master Science degree course regarding peace, security and women. The series of classes will operate starting the academic year of 2017.

Jolie partnered with the London School of Economics way back in May. It was announced that the topics she is going to teach will be enveloped in a number of lectures, research projects as well as workshops, as reported by E! News.

According to the award-winning actress, it is important to talk about how the rights of women could push through and stop the immunity for crimes that unfairly affects women, including sexual violence. "I am looking forward to teaching and to learning from the students as well as to sharing my own experiences of working alongside governments and the United Nations," she added.

No information has been disclosed as to what position Jolie is going to fill in the university, aside from being a professor.  Eventually, the ambassador for Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security Melanne Verveer was pleased to meet the "Mr. and Mrs. Smith" star in May. She stated that she is looking forward to Jolie to teaching at Georgetown University after her job at the London School of Economics.

Subsequently, after a year of teaching at the London School of Economics, she will become a visiting professor at Georgetown University this fall. Just like Jolie, William Hague, erstwhile U.K foreign secretary, will also teach at the same university as a visiting professor, Vanity Fair reported.

Aside from being a professor, Jolie is also well-known for her drive on behalf of refugees being a Special Envoy for the United Nations.
