South Korean actor and director Ha Jung Woo's thoughtful deed towards "The Tunnel" co-star Bae Doo Na was not accepted as he wanted it to be. In a recent press interview, the renowned star shared how his present got rejected by the production crew of his former co-artist's current show.

Ha shared that he and Korean director Kim Sung Hoon have had a coffee cart delivered to Bae on the set of her American science fiction web series "Sense8," All KPop reported. Unfortunately, the actress was not around at the time of delivery so the present was sent back by the crews of her recent show.

However, despite the rejection that he received, Ha still managed to defend his co-star. According to the 38-year-old artist, he perfectly understands that there are differences in American and Korean the production and that there are certain measures that need to be followed by each set.

"The Hollywood system is different. There is already a trailer on set so they said they don't need it,” Ha said as quoted by All Kpop.

He added: “Plus, because the filming is progressing rather quickly, so if staff members or actors not linked to the drama visited the set, it could disturb the workflow so they said they won't receive the coffee cart."

“The Tunnel,” wherein the two actors work together, is an upcoming suspense film directed by Kim Seong-hun that is set to premiere on Aug. 10, KPop Herald reported. The film unfolds the story of Lee Jung-soo (played by Ha) who battled for survival after a tunnel he is in has collapsed. It also illustrates societal and political flaws that overrun all groups.
