Followers of VIXX won't have to wait any longer as the band revealed the release date of "Hades," which will be on Aug. 12. "VIXX 2016 CONCEPTION" is a year-long project of the band, which they have started in April when they released their fifth album called "Zelos," Soompi reported.

Further reports revealed that "Zelos" topped the Gaon album chart after selling almost 90,000 copies. A couple of months of the release of their fifth album, VIXX released their third Japanese single entitled "Hana-Kaze."

According to Kmusic, VIXX eyes to finish the "Conception" trilogy by the end of 2016 while following the Greek mythology concept, hence, the band called their upcoming release "Hades," the Greek chthonic god of underworld.

The South Korean boy band made their debut in 2012 with their first single entitled "Super Hero." Prior to their official debut, VIXX members appeared in music videos of various artists who are also under Jellyfish Entertainment.

In 2014, VIXX made their debut in Japan with an album called "Darkest Angels," which sold over 12,000 copies. Amid rising popularity, the boy band was invited to attend The KKBOX Music Awards in Taiwan, making them the first Korean band to have been invited for the event.
