"Blindspot" Season 2 will uncover a part of Jane's identity when the new bunch of episodes rolls out in the fall. The NBC thriller starring Jamie Alexander is set to reveal the lead character's real name, according to the show's executive producers.

At Comic Con last week, one of the highlights revealed from the panel of "Blindspot" is the official confirmation that fans will finally learn who Jane Doe is, TV Guide reported. The announcement marks as one of the show's biggest spoiler reveal after leading fans through a season-long mystery arc about the show's protagonist.

Aside from delving into Jane's true identity, "Blindspot" Season 2 will also introduce two new series regulars. The show has cast Luke Mitchell ("Agents of SHIELD") as Roman and Michelle Hurd ("Devious Maids") as another member of the group that sent Jane to the FBI in Season 1.

Mitchell and Hurd joins previous cast Archie Panjabi ("The Good Wife") as the head of a secret department at the NSA - who's in charge of monitoring Jane Doe.

During the Q&A panel, fans and reporters were also treated to a never-before-seen trailer of "Blindspot" Season 2, Spoilers Guide has learned. The sneak peek video features a torture and an interrogation scene where Panjabi's character is first seen questioning Alexander's Jane Doe.

"Blindspot," which hails from executive producers Greg Berlanti and Martin Gero, has been ranked as NBC's number one series last fall. The series also stars Ashley Johnson, Audrey Esparza and Ukweli Roach.

"Blindspot" Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, Sept. 14 at 8PM on NBC.
