BTS gave an unforgettable closing performance at the KCON over the weekend as the boys captivated the audience with their famous tracks "Save Me" and "Fire."

This year's KCON was held in New Jersey. It is the second KCON held in the greater New York area following its debut in 2012. Thousands of people from various cities attended the event, which included live musical performances, booths showcasing Korean culture and other engagement conferences.

According to Angela Killoren, the chief operation officer of CJ E&M America, KCON has gone through a lot of changes since 2012. The audience is now diversified - with just 30 percent composed of Asians. Over the years, the event has turned into a multicultural platform that introduces the culture of Korea to an international crowd.

Top Korean artists who performed at the KCON include, Seventeen, Ailee, Crush, BTOB and of course BTS. However, BTS was considered the highlight of the show since they gave the event a massive closing performance.

Ailee, who is a New Jersey native, gave a speech on stage, expressing how happy he felt being back. She sang her latest single "Mind Your Own Business."

BTS performed some tracks from their 2015 album entitled "Boyz with Fun." They followed the performance by singing a song from their 2014 album "Dark and Wild."

The next KCON event will be held in Los Angeles from July 29-31.
