Song Ji Hyo, the other half of "Running Man's" Monday Couple, has finally spoken up about Gary's sudden announcement of his marriage earlier this month.

During an event in Malaysia, the "Running Man" members sat down to entertain questions from their fans where they were asked to share their thoughts about the former running mate.

"I'm a bit sad as I only found out about it from the news. I wish Gary-oppa a happy marriage," Song Ji Hyo said as per Koreaboo. "He also changed his contact number so I hope he'll contact us."

Although all of them have developed a tight relationship for the past seven years of filming "Running Man," the actress is considered extra special to Gary because of their special bond.

The "Emergency Couple" actress was even emotional when her partner left the variety program to pursue his passion for music. Despite their unawareness of Gary's personal affair, the "Running Man" members are supportive of the ex-Leessang member.

"I actually congratulated him but there was no reply. Gary-hyung is unique, he will find a way to contact us," Haha explained.

On April 5, the rapper shocked his fans and colleagues when he announced his secret marriage on Instagram. Gary revealed he and his non-celebrity wife held a private ceremony with just the two of them.

"She moved my soul in an instant. I know this marriage announcement is surprising news but please give us your blessings! We will live happily forever," he wrote.

Following the big news, it was revealed that not even his close friends and label knew about the wedding. Despite the shocker, the former "Running Man" member received nothing but love and support from his supporters.

In light of the issue, Gary's concert in Malaysia was recently cancelled reportedly due to internal issues as cited by Soompi. Fans, however, suspected that the cancellation has something to do with his secret marriage.

These claims were immediately shut down by Gary's management in a formal statement released Tuesday, April 25.

"We had confirmed the concert in early-March, but they continued to push back the payment, so unfortunately, we had to cancel the show. Gary's sudden marriage is unrelated to the cancelation of the concert," a network insider clarified.
