A drama would be boring without an antagonist who would make the life of the main actors miserable. But despite being branded as the bad guys, the person behind the masked kidnapper in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" thought not all villains are evils.

Jang Mi Kwan, a rookie actor from the fashion industry, recently shared how his evil character in the Park Bo Young-led series has left a different impression to the viewers as per Soompi.

"I'm acting as Kim Jang Hyun, but I still have my own qualities," he said, referring to his psychopathic role in the drama.

Unlike his deranged role in "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the model-turned-actor revealed he is not capable of cursing at or hitting women.

"People think I'm scary even without the mask because of my role in the drama, but I want to clarify that it's not true. In reality, I'm a very plain and boring person," Jang Mi Kwan added.

The rookie actor shared he was thrilled after getting the "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" role. Although his face was barely shown in the series, Jang Mi Kwan said he had to do his best to remain on his character for the drama.

"Because I was wearing a mask, I could have been replaced by another actor if I didn't do well. I was excited, but I also felt pressured by the thought that I had to do a good job," he explained.

For his preparation, Jang Mi Kwan shared he watched Christian Bale's "American Psycho" for reference. When asked about the popularity of "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," the rookie actor admitted he was not expecting the drama would receive much attention.

Despite the success of the JTBC series, Jang Mi Kwan could not help but worry about his future as an actor. "There's no guarantee that things will continue to turn out well," he said.
