'Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 spoilers: 'Glee' actor Matthew Morrison joins show to play the role of Jo’s ex-husband

As the hit ABC series "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 is coming to an end, there have been more spoilers about their last remaining episodes that have resurfaced over the internet. For one thing, a new actor joins the show and could most likely still be in the next season, could this be Jo's ex?

It has been rumored that actor Matthew Morrison from "Glee" could be joining "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 for a guest role. This hasn't been confirmed by the creator Shonda Rhimes or any of the production team of the series. However, Morrison has already taken to his Instagram account that he is filming for an appearance in a show that he could not yet mention. However, the fans of the show are one step ahead in figuring things out. According to Entertainment News Online, pictures surfaced around social media showing Morrison filming a scene with Justin Chambers who plays Dr. Alex Karev on the hit ABC series.

Based on the current storyline of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13, it can be recalled that Alex and Jo's storyline have been on the rocks in reference to Jo's abusive ex-husband, who is also a doctor. Thus, upon the photos circulated around the internet, the fans then speculated that Morrison could be playing the role of Jo's ex-husband. In addition to this, the post that orison posted consisted of the information that he will be playing the role of a certain Dr. Paul Stadler.

In putting things together, some information has been partially confirmed by the fans already. Morrison will reportedly appear in the 23rd episode of the series, most likely nearing its' season finale. In other parts of the storyline, Broadway World reported that in the coming episodes, Meredith and Nathan will be forced to confront their feelings about each other. The next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 13 will air on April 13, 2017.
