Descendants of the Sun lead actor Song Joong-ki impressed his Wuhan fans after the actor spoke the Wuhan dialect during his fan meet at the Wuhan Lobby of the China Culture Expo Center last Saturday.

"He was able to casually speak short phrases in Chinese, even surprised his fans by using the Wuhan dialect," Blossom Entertainment, the actor's agency, told Soompi.

Around 6,500 Chinese fans in Wuhan attended the event, bigger than his audience in Beijing. This is the 30-year-old actor's second stop of the eight-city China leg part of his 2016 Asia Tour Fan Meeting.

Meanwhile, during the Q&A time with his fans, one asked, "What would you have become if you did not become an actor?"

Song's response was pretty impressive. "If I did not become an actor, I would have become Lee Kwang Soo's manager," he said.

His answer clearly showed his loyalty and deep friendship with his co-star. Song made a cameo appearance in the Korean series Sound of Your Heart, starring Lee Kwang Soo. Soo previously did a cameo in the first episode of the Descendants of the Sun.

Song wittily gave his opinion about helping those in need. "Giving is something that I feel I will have to continuously do in the future," he said.

This week, Song Joong-ki will continue his third and fourth China fan meet legs on May 27 at the Guangzhou International Sports Arena and on the 28th at the Shenzhen Bay Sports Center, respectively.

According to Yibada, in between the tours, Song will be shooting for the Battleship Island and will grace magazine photoshoots and interviews,
