"The Predator" reboot is coming sooner than many fans expect as director Shane Black is expected to start filming next week. Aside from starting earlier than expected, the film will also push for popular names but a cameo from a popular character is very unlikely.

Filming Date Revealed

Fans of the sci-fi action epic should be excited about the upcoming reboot of "The Predator" and it's coming sooner than many think. In an interview with Comicbook, star of the upcoming superhero movie "Logan" Boyd Holbrook indicated that the film will start shooting in two weeks. Boyd will be part of the upcoming sci-fi action film and the interview with Comicbook was last week.

The movie will be directed by Shane Black - a move that will push his career in full circle since he was part of the original film released in 1987. Before becoming the director for the reboot, Shane got the Hollywood buzz for directing some of the most critically acclaimed action films in the past decade such as "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang," "The Nice Guys" and "Iron Man 3."

Aside from Boyd Holbrook, the upcoming film will also feature an impressive cast such as Olivia Munn, 50 Cent and Jacob Tremblay. As of this writing, their roles in the upcoming film are still unknown.

No Cameo from Arnold

Those who expect a cameo from the former California governor should be disheartened with the news that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be part of the upcoming movie or even a cameo. According to Collider, Black is working on something different and including a cameo should end up as "gimmick" for the upcoming film.

Since shooting is about to start next week, the film should also grace the theaters soon. Shane Black's "The Predator" is expected to hit theaters February next year.
