Jo In Sung, Lee Dong Wook, Gong Yoo to star in ‘Goblin’ screenwriter’s next project?

tvN's "Goblin" has been a major hit in the drama world recently after becoming the second highest rated drama in Korean cable television history. Kim Eun Sook, the drama's screenwriter is currently seeking the suitable actor for her next project.

Kim debuted in the 2000 drama "South of the Sun," which recorded a high viewership rating of 30.2 percent. After which, the 43-year old screenwriter continued making countless hits, such as, "Lovers in Paris," "Lovers in Prague," "On Air," "City Hall," "Secret Garden," "A Gentleman's Dignity," "The Heirs," and "Descendants of the Sun."

The screenwriter's drama had received tremendous love from the viewers, not just in South Korea but throughout the globe. As she is well-known for creating mesmerizing male characters, top artists have since contacted the screenwriter in hopes to work alongside her.

South Korean actor Jo In Sung, 35, has expressed his interest to work with screenwriter Kim. "Apart from the number projects, I believe than an actor has to become fresh and new every time he stands in front of an audience. I don't know what Kim Eun Sook has planned for next, but what I do know is that I want to be a part of it," Allkpop quoted.

"Goblin" star Lee Dong Wook also expressed his interest to star in Kim's next project. However, the screenwriter rejected the Grim Reaper saying he wasn't fit for the role.

On the other hand, Gong Yoo was personally contacted by Kim and confessed that she is interested to work with the actor for five years. The 37-year old actor previously starred in Kim's drama "Goblin" alongside with actor Lee, Kim Go Eun, Yoo In Na, and Yook Sung Jae wrapping up with 20.97 percent viewership rating, as per Nielsen Korea.

Screenwriter Kim also teases that she wants to work with actors Won Bin and Kang Dong Won in her next project. It is still a mystery whether or not the two actors will get a chance to work with the screenwriter. An affiliate expressed, "Writer Kim Eun Sook is looking to reveal her next project in 2018."
