EXO’s Chen promises to create new songs after 'Inkigayo' win for 'Nosedive' [VIDEO]

EXO's Chen personally wrote a sweet message to his fans after his collaboration with Dynamic Duo nabbed the #1 spot on the Feb. 5 installment of "Inkigayo."

According to Allkpop, Dynamic Duo and Chen's "Nosedive" surpassed Suzy and BLACKPINK by winning the top spot on the SBS show. Aside from the three nominees, several artists made their comeback on the "Inkigayo" stage.

Red Velvet returned with "Rookie," while Huh Gak staged his new song "Miss You." Shin Ji Hoon also performed his new music "You Are A Star Already," and MASC staged "Tina" on "Inkigayo."

A day after their "Inkigayo" win, Chen posted a message on EXO-L's official fan page. Soompi cited the EXO member appeared to be enthusiastic on his post as he filled it with heart emojis, exclamation points and happy emoticons.

"When I was recording this song, I wanted it to be a small gift for everyone, something to tell you all that you've worked really hard through all the hardships this past year, and to say "let's continue to work harder together in 2017,"" Chen wrote.

The EXO member added, "To think that I would instead receive the gift of first place like this... I'm once again touched by our EXO-Ls."

Chen promised his fans that he will continue to create more songs for them in the future. Before he ended his message, the EXO member did not forget to thank Dynamic Duo for giving him the chance to collaborate with them for "Nosedive."

The popular hip-hop duo personally wrote "Nosedive" which was released on Jan. 24. Reports stated Dynamic Duo teamed up with EXO's Chen for "Mixxxture," a collaboration project between Amoeba Culture and Loen Entertainment.

"Nosedive" immediately achieved an all-kill ranking on major music charts including Melon, Mnet, Soribada, Olleh Music, Bugs Music, and Genie.
