The much awaited new breed of Hack-and-Slash RPG game "For Honor" is about to launch this February, and Ubisoft will also launch its Open Beta Play before the initial release. "For Honor" will hold its Open Beta this Febuary 9, a 3-day early access event.

The Entertainment Focus confirmed that the "For Honor" game will launch the Open Beta play this February 9. The early access campaign will conclude on February 12, 2 days before the official release.

Ubisoft will be releasing some of the highly known celebrity warriors, that includes Lauren Cohan, Jason Momoa Alfie Allen and Demetrious Johnson. Prior to the Open Beta Play, Ubisoft will also hold a "For Honor" Faction War, this will be a livestream event to be held on Tuesday, February 7th. The event will start at a 10pm UK time.

The "For Honor" Open Beta will feature the Elimination mode in PvP. The battle is a four versus four match set in 5 total rounds, where the killed heroes will not respawn until the end of the round. "For Honor" Open Beta will also include most of the PvP game modes available such as the Domination, Brawl and the 1-on-1 Duel.

A total of 12 playable heroes will be released in the "For Honor" Open Beta. The Faction War is also open for all using any of the 3 Factions such as the Knights, Samurai and Vikings. Rewards that will be earned in every battle will be given on the exact release date of the "For Honor" this February 14.

On the other side of the news, according to the Express UK, "For Honor" will be available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC only. It is confirmed that the "For Honor" game will not be ported to the upcoming Nintendo Switch.

The "For Honor" game director Jason VadenBerghe said in an interview that porting the game to the Nintendo Switch is not in their plans. VadenBerghe reiterated that they working on the "For Honor" game is not a simple thing to do, and they really need to look first if the game will be hit or not.
