EXO-Ls are loving the idea of Kai to call him "Kai oppa!!" whenever they needed the idol. In fact, EXO's official fansite could not take all the responses from the fans after the member made the announcement.

According to Koreaboo, Kai posted his appeal in a fansite forum where he posted on Sunday, "When you miss me, yell "I miss you Kai oppa!!" You need to include the two exclamation marks, they're essential. Then, I will come to you."

Kai's announcement made his fans go gaga as most of them immediately respond to the idol's original post. The huge response from EXO-Ls even resulted to the temporary downtime of the fansite.

However, the unavailability of EXO-L's official fansite did not stop the fans from calling their "Kai oppa!!" as many of them resorted to tweeting the EXO member in hopes to get his attention.

In fact, EXO-Ls trended the phrase "Kai oppa" on Twitter, proving how the fans reacted to their idol's message.

Meanwhile, fans should watch out for Kai in his upcoming drama, titled "Andante." Allkpop reported the EXO member received mixed response when he was confirmed to play the lead role for the KBS2 drama.

UBI Culture immediately made a statement to address those who are questioning their decision to cast the idol for "Andante." The production company said, "Casting EXO's Kai, who sits on an unrivaled pedestal in K-Pop, will dedicate viewers' explosive attention [to the drama]."

The EXO member will play as Si Kyung, a "beagle-like" teenager who appeared to be rebellious and disobedient. As a result of his defiance, he was transferred to a school where students are obliged to work at a hospital ward.

Upon doing voluntary works, Kai's character in "Andante" will finally realize the meaning of life and love.

Are you excited to watch Kai oppa in his first lead role?
