Executive Producer Aaron Helbing talked about Gorilla Grodd's comeback in "The Flash" Season 3 in a recent interview. He revealed that the villain's appearance is going to be epic.

Helbing only had good words to say about Grodd's return in "The Flash" Season 3. He raised the excitement for the gorilla's appearance, when he described Grodd's scenes or sequences in the instalment as definitely amazing. He said he has never seen anything like it on TV.

"They're epic and unbelievable in scale and scope," Helbing told Entertainment Weekly.

According to the Arrowverse.tv, Grodd appears in "The Flash" Season 3 episode 13 and 14. In this two-part episode, fans will get a glimpse at Grodd's new sanctuary in Earth 2. Viewers will see what Gorilla City looks like. Team Flash will travel to Earth 2 where they will reunite with the gorilla and learn his standing among his kind.

Likewise, Helbing said that the team will meet another familiar face in Earth 2. He did not reveal who, but perhaps he was referring to the ruler of Gorilla City. The two-part episode of "The Flash" Season 3 will reportedly also introduce Solovar (voiced by actor Keith David).

Grodd's appearance in "The Flash" Season 3 also brings another challenge for Barry Allen, Kid Flash and the rest of the team. He returns to Earth 1 to wreak havoc in Central City. Perhaps he is back with a vengeance after what the team did to him. The last time fans saw the gorilla was in Season 2, after Harrison and the team created a loop for him to enter Gorilla City.

Previously leaked photos and videos from the set of "The Flash" Season 3 in Vancouver already gave a tease at Grodd's appearance. Gypsy and Barry reportedly both take down the animal and Solovar. A photo also emerged online from a filming that took place in Stanley Park, which represents Gorilla City.
