Jurassic World 2, which is slated for release on 2018, is finally starting its production stage. JA Bayona, the director of the new instalment in the franchise, hinted the start of the movie's production by showing images on Twitter.

Hard hats, though useless to the might of the dinosaurs, has always been an integral part in the Jurassic Park franchise. It has been carried on to the latest blockbuster Jurassic World. To pay tribute and to announce that the latest instalment has started production, director JA Bayona on Thursday tweeted an image of these hard hat with a caption saying that he is preparing for "the journey," CinemaBlend reported.

The image shows a black and white image of three hard hats with Jurassic World logos, ComicBook reported. The hard hats look roughed up and used, which probably are effects and designs after being freshly released from the production room. This is a big and exciting news for the fans as it would mean that the production for the instalment would be happening very soon.

Director Bayona's latest project was the powerful and emotional "A Monster Calls." Fans are excited with what this director would bring in the new instalment, which is his first time in the franchise. Bayona will be directing actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, who will be reprising their roles from Jurassic World.

There are also rumors that BD Wong would be back in the sequel as Dr. Henry, who at the last parts of Jurassic World was seen escaping on a helicopter with dino embryos. This could hint the direction of the new movie, which could be bringing the dinosaurs out of the infamous islands.

There are no official reports on how the story of the movie would go, but fans speculate that it would revolve around the militarization of the dinosaurs. Chris Pratt's Owen has found a way to train the dinosaurs, which makes the militarization concept possible. Dinosaurs in Jurassic World 2 might be seen as pets or weapons.

Other actors expected in the movie are Rafe Spall, Justice Smith, and Toby Jones. Belen Atienza, Frank Marshall, and Patrick Crowley will produce the film. Meanwhile, Thomas Tull, Colin Trevorrow, and Steven Spielberg will be the executive producers of the new Jurassic World 2 movie.
