Preview

Golden State extended their winning run to a current NBA-best seven games after routing the Orlando Magic, 118-98, on the road at the Amway Center on Sunday night, as per the SF Gate.

The Warriors overcame a bad start to still pull off the 20-point victory, putting on a show in a dominant 42-24 third quarter after struggling in the first two and ending the half tied at 50-50.

Stephen Curry led the team with 27 points, four rebounds, and six assists while Klay Thompson had 21 points and five boards.

Kevin Durant struggled in the game and finished with only 15 points on 5-for-12 field goal shooting, but had 10 rebounds, six assists, three steals, and two blocks. Draymond Green contributed 10 boards, six points, and four assists while Zaza Pachulia had 14 points, five rebounds, and two steals.

Off the bench, JaVale McGee chipped in 13 points, eight of them in the first period, while Patrick McCaw added 10 points.

Meanwhile, the Heat have stringed three consecutive victories, their longest winning run so far this season. However, the team still remained in the second to the last spot in the East, four-and-a-half games ahead of cellar-dwellers Brooklyn Nets.

Miami turned back a tough challenge from the Milwaukee Bucks, 109-97, also at the AmericanAirlines Arena last Saturday, the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported.

Dion Waiters tied a career-high 33 points to lead the Heat along with three rebounds and three assists. Goran Dragic contributed 25 points and six assists while Hassan Whiteside had a double-double of 16 points and 15 rebounds with two blocks.

Wayne Ellington came off the bench to score 15 points and grab five rebounds with two steals to lead the second unit.

Tyler Johnson is questionable in this game versus Golden State with a shoulder injury.

Prediction

The Warriors are a great road team with an 18-3 slate so far this season while the Heat has struggled at home with an 8-13 record. A huge win for Golden State is predicted.
