TWICE's fans swarmed the Interpark website after tickets for the girl group's first ever concert went on sale on Jan. 20. The online ticketing system for the upcoming show revealed tickets have sold out within 40 minutes.

Allkpop reported thousands of fans waited until the concert tickets were made available on Interpark. As a result, all tickets for the standing and reserved areas have swiftly sold out in just a matter of minutes.

Many fans thought it was a good sign for the girl group, noting that they are still considered a rookie band. TWICE is set to take the stage of Seoul Olympic Park for a three-day "TWICE 1st TOUR 'TWICELAND - THE OPENING" concert from Feb. 17 to 19.

On the other hand, a source revealed the nine-member group is set to release a new album next month. Soompi reported the upcoming release will feature TWICE's old and new songs.

Another one claimed TWICE reportedly plans to release the album on Feb. 20. Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment denied the girl group will drop a full-length or a mini-album this month; however, it confirmed the girl group will release a new music.

"Their [next] album will be an extension of their third mini album. It will not be a new fourth mini-album or a full studio album," the label said, refusing to give further details about TWICE's new music.

The South Korean girl group was formed by JYP Entertainment through a reality show called "Sixteen" in 2015. In the same year, TWICE made their debut with the release of a mini-album, titled "The Story Begins."

Last year, TWICE released two mini-albums, called "Page Two" and "TWICEcoaster: LANE 1." Also in 2016, the girl group announced "Candy Bong" as their official light stick.

On top of that, TWICE celebrated their first anniversary with a new song, titled "One in a Million."
