Following reports that 2NE1's disbandment was caused by Park Bom's mental health issues, the singer broke her silence and gave her two cents.

On Twitter a fan asked Park Bom is she hates YG Entertainment, perhaps in response to Yang Hyun Suk statement that the group disbanded to allow Park Bom to recover from her mental health problems. The singer responded that she still loves the agency.

She also revealed how she truly felt when the drug controversy exploded in 2014. Koreaboo reported that she uploaded an excerpt from her diary, dated Oct. 20.

"I feel like today will be one of those days that goes into my core memory," Park Bom wrote in her diary. "[YG Entertainment's CEO Yang Hyun Suk] is for sure a person of greatness...like...so awesome that I'm worried I won't be able to record it all in words."

Park Bom went on to say that despite the controversy, he is thankful for Yang Hyun Suk's understanding of the situation. She added that the experience will hopefully make her a better person, and that her goal is to become someone like Yang Hyun Suk.

This is the first time Park Bom opened up about YG Entertainment and her drug scandal without any filter. Her diary entry allowed fans to take a peek at the family-like culture YG Entertainment embraces.

Park Bom did not renew her contract with YG Entertainment when it expired last year, while CL and Sandara Park re-signed their contracts. According to Koreaboo, Park Bom and Minzy were removed from 2NE1's group profile on Naver. The website's edit not leaves CL and Sandara Park as the only members of 2NE1.

On Jan. 20, 2NE1 released the group's final song which is titled "Goodbye." The song was written by CL and features vocals from CL, Park Bom and Sandara Park.
