Hallyu star Lee Min Ho is holding a fan meeting next month in Korea. The 29-year old actor is currently starring on SBS hit drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea" alongside "My Sassy Girl" Jun Ji Hyun.

On Feb. 18 and 19, fans will get a chance to congratulate the Hallyu star for his 10th year anniversary. The said event will be held at the KungHee University's Peace Hall.

It is said that the hall can accommodate up to 3,000 people. Split into two days, about 6,000 people are expected to gather in Lee's 10th year anniversary.

His label, MYM Entertainment, revealed, "Lee Min Ho's 10 year anniversary marking his debut has passed. Due to conflicting drama filming schedules and such, we were unable to hold the event last year, so we pushed it back to February, once filming has concluded," Allkpop reported.

Lee officially debuted as an actor in an EBS series "Secret Campus," however, his breakthrough came in 2009 as Gu Jun Pyo in KBS' "Boys Over Flowers." The role even won him a "Best New Actor" award during the 45th Baeksang Arts Awards.

In the following years, Min Ho star in different dramas including, "City Hunter (2011)," "The Heirs (2013)," and his ongoing drama "The Legend of the Blue Sea." The success of his television drama throughout Asia hailed him as a top Hallyu star.

Earlier, X Sports News recently interviewed three Hallyu star, including Lee, to ask about if they felt any responsibility as a Hallyu star, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" actor then revealed, "It's an honor and I'm grateful, but it still feels unfamiliar. I would feel the responsibility even without the title, because I know there are people around the world who are cheering for me," as reported by Soompi.

Hallyu is a term coined by Beijing journalists in mid-1999 who were surprised at the speed of the fast-growing popularity of the Korean entertainment and culture. The term commonly means "Korean cultural wave."

It was first driven by the spread of K-dramas and K-pop across East, South, and Southeast Asia during its initial stages. The Korean Wave then evolved from a regional development into a global phenomenon, carried by the Internet and social media and the proliferation of K-pop music videos on YouTube.
