The Miami Heat (11-28) and the Golden State Warriors (32-6) square off at the Oracle Arena on Jan. 10, Tuesday in a 2016-2017 NBA regular season match.

Miami is reeling at the moment as the team lost eight of their last nine games. The team is second to the last place in the Eastern Conference table, one-and-a-half games ahead of cellar-dwellers Brooklyn Nets.

In their most recent game last Sunday, the Heat was defeated by the Los Angeles Clippers, 98-86, on the road at the Staples Center for their second straight loss, as per the Miami Herald.

Goran Dragic led Miami with 24 points, five rebounds, five assists, and one steal in the game two days after he was ejected for fighting with Lakers guard Jordan Clarkson.

It was also the return of Hassan Whiteside from injury and he contributed a double-double of 15 points and 13 boards with two blocked shots in 31 minutes of playing time.

Off the bench, James Johnson and Tyler Johnson both scored 12 points apiece with a combined 13 rebounds and four assists between the two of them.

Meanwhile, the Warriors got back to their winning track after succumbing to an upset loss against Memphis on Jan. 6.

Golden State routed the Sacramento Kings, 117-106, also on Sunday night to earn their fifth victory in their last six games, SF Gate reported.

Stephen Curry top-scored for head coach Steve Kerr's side with 30 points, four rebounds, six assists, and two steals while Kevin Durant had 28 points, seven boards, six assists, one steal, and four blocks.

Klay Thompson fired 18 points but was miserable from downtown, shooting 1-for-7 from three-point range. Zaza Pachulia chipped in 10 points and seven rebounds while Draymond Green dished out 10 assists with seven boards and nine points.

Prediction 

The Heat has a 6-15 record on the road so far this season while the Warriors are almost unbeatable at home with a 16-3 slate. Golden State is the overwhelming favorite to win this game.
