MONSTA X is now the new face of "Kappa" for this new year. "Kappa" is an Italian sportswear brand founded in 1967 in Turin, Italy.

The K-Pop group has been chosen as the new official models of "Kappa" for 2017. The group is said to be doing a lot of promotional activities with the brand.

MONSTA X were chosen as the new face of the brand after proving that they could pull off any sort of looks through various photo-shoots. The group also showed off their athletic abilities during the "Idol Star Athletics Championships," Allkpop reported.

The company's focus is to reach out to the consumers in their 10s and 20s through MONSTA X. Also, they are looking forward to launch their "Keep on KOMBAT" global campaign with the group as well.

Reports reveal that the group already had their photo-shoot with "Kappa" early this year. Starting mid-January, the group's full photo-shoot will be available to the public.

Meanwhile, a source from Starship Entertainment recently revealed that the group will star on its own variety show called "MONSTA X-RAY." Starting Jan. 12, the group will reveal to fans their hidden talents and charms.

"We'll do our best on this real variety show as it will reflect on us as a group. As the title of the program implies, we're ready to show you everything we've got," MONSTA X members expressed as translated by Soompi.

It is worth noting that the group just recently wrapped up their activities for "Fighter" in Korea. Currently, the group is continuing with their first Asian fan meet tours in the Philippines and Taiwan.

The K-pop group was formed by Starship Entertainment through Mnet's survival show "NO MERCY" in 2015. The group is composed of seven members - Shownu, Wonho, Hyungwon, Kihyun, Jooheon, Minhyuk, and I.M.

Also, teaser for the group's upcoming show "MONSTA X-RAY" will be available on JTBC2's and the group's official social media account before it airs its first episode.
