The mobile industry is always on the competing end and it seems that among those mobile devices is the OnePlus 3. There are inclinations that the Oxygen0S 4.01 update is the highly desired update of this present time, but the integratation of this upgrade might take awhile for OnePlus 3.

Given the demands to have the OxygenOS 4.0.1 update for OnePlus 3, it is understandable why some tech enthusiasts are learning the perks of this new mobile OS.

In a former report from Android Headlines, the OnePlus 3 is beginning to see the OxygenOS 4.0.1 update, kicking it forward to a slightly newer version of Android Nougat after having just recently sent out more updates for Android 7.0 in the form of OxygenOS 4.0 back on January 2 alongside the OnePlus 3T.

Since most OnePlus 3 devices are likely already on Android 7.0 Nougat through the software update to OxygenOS 4.0 that OnePlus started rolling out earlier this month, this minor bump in software isn't going to bring along with it a large amount of feature changes and new functionality, in fact the update looks identical, as noted by the same post.

Phone Arena also relayed that the update brings a couple of improvements and fixes such as updated APN settings for select carriers and increased system stability and OnePlus also states the proximity sensor bug during calls has been fixed too. According to the same report, among the known issues mentioned by OnePlus is Wi-Fi connectivity, which might not work flawlessly and the user noticed the connection fluctuates, they should offer feedback on the matter.

For the tech and mobile enthusiasts, there are still more things that they could expect from OnePlus 3. Although there are noted glitches, the updates are designed to act as countermeasures for these flaws.
