HTC Vive moving to a wireless device; HTC to release the new TPCast Wireless Converter

The mobile company that creates one of the best gaming accessory is about to release the newest add-on to their VR headset. HTC Vive is proud to present the TPCast that will allow the VR headset to run wirelessly.

HTC Vive will have its newest accessory that will eliminate the tangle-prone long cables. With the use of the upcoming TPCast, HTC Vive will become a wireless VR device.

The EnGadget were able to have a touch on the new HTC Vive TPCast and was able to review the device. The TPCast is said to be a small device that can be attached at the top part of the HTC Vive VR headset.

The TPCast comes along with a small battery pack, connected using a small wire and can be inserted in a pocket. HTC Vive VR with the all new TPCast will provide more convenience to the user, eliminating the needs of the traditional long cables.

The future for the VR gaming is now advancing to a whole new level as the Polygon said. HTC is stepping forward with the addition of the upcoming TPCast Wireless converter and is expected to continue adding some useful accessories for a better VR experience.

The TPCast was introduced during the CES 2017 last earlier last week in Las Vegas. The company announced that the upcoming HTC Vive accessory will be out in the market in the second quarter of 2017, with a retail price of $249.

The initial TPCast Kit comes along with a battery pack that can be used up to almost 2 hours of playing and has the ability to run a 2K resolution at most games. Games and gadget critics are expecting the company to release a much longer life battery in the future.

In addition, a new VR Tracking device will provide a much realistic VR gaming experience. It is said to bring real world objects to the VR world that would make each game an almost perfect game for Virtual Reality. There is also a new HTC Vive Deluxe Audio Straps that will replace the existing head-mounted straps.
