Clash Royale tips, gameplay; Countering Elite Barbarians

Elite Barbarians is currently one of the most popular cards in Clash Royale. A player should be prepared to counter a powerful card as it can easily wipe out an opponent's tower - even with a timely reaction.

Card Profile - Elite Barbarians

According to Clash Royale Pedia Elite Barbarians is a six-elixir card with 69DPS with 1.3 seconds of hit speed - a staggering stat and it exponentially rise when it levels up. As of this writing, many Elite Barbarians are on Level 9 on high arenas and some have mustered collect enough cards and coins for an upgraded level 10 attack.

It's danger rests largely on four factors: high HP, very fast, destructive DPS and fast hit speed. When left unchecked, it can decimate anyone on its way and the tower. It is most dangerous when combined with Rage card.

Counter Attack for Successful Recovery

Although Elite Barbarians are very impressive in stats, it has one big weakness: high elixir cost. According to Clash Royale Arena, their attacks are often accompanied by support which means the attack wrecks the player's elixir management.

More often than not, Elite Barbarian will be accompanied by a splash card which costs as much as five elixirs. The smart counterattack is to push a card and anticipate a support or Zap - a secondary card to quell the Elite Barbarians should be utilized.

The Skeleton Army supported by other characters in case zapped should be a good start. A good place to take down this type of attack is at the player's side to utilize the tower defense and additional structures. Bomb Tower could have devastating effects on the attack when in range.
