The 2017 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show will showcase the latest innovations in Las Vegas. It starts the first days of January. CES 2017 show will be held 3 until 11 January, in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is a paradise of new electronic gadgets and what happens during that week marks the digital trends for the coming year.

It may not be the largest, but it is the most important. According to BBC, CES 2016 had 177,393 attendees at 2.47 million square feet. What will await us this year? These are the most important trends that will mark the CES and 2017 in technological matters.

It started with cellphone, asking Siri, but now they are everywhere and is the most real way the "internet of things" is taking over our lifestyle. This year the technology will finally become cheaper. During the culminating year, Amazon brought by Alexa.

By 2017, Alexa or some other virtual assistants from other companies will come to your home. Reported from CNET, Consumers had heard from companies like Neura that improve their products with artificial intelligence. "It will be the first year in which artificial intelligence products will be commercially successful," said Bryan Catanzaro, vice president of research for deep learning research at Nvidia.

What can we expect from CES 2017?

Homes connected

Mark Zuckerberg explained how he installed artificial intelligence in his house and the big brands want to provide products to the general public. Locks, security cameras, lights, coffee makers, refrigerators and even washing machines will come to life at CES this year.

Cars

Ford, Honda, Toyota and Kia to new competitors like Tesla and even more recent as Faraday Future will have their place in the event. The latter will show its first vehicle in production, an electric car that, they say, will be the fastest on the market. We can also expect to see new connected car systems and more electric vehicles demonstrating their autonomy and power.

Virtual and Augmented Reality

The field of VR and AR is led by video games but the CES is about the general public and surely see what new implementations of technology appear. Not only in the hands of brands like Samsung, Google, Microsoft, but also startups that target a much wider audience than gaming fans.

Robots

Using application in the areas of customer service, education, health and tourism, among others. They make space in family homes, hospitals, premises and museums. The rise of artificial intelligence gave them greater skills and, like every year, we expect to see fun and curious robots, designed to do the unthinkable.

Drones

2016 was a great year for the drones. The first world ran, GoPro launched his - although he had a problem and asked to be returned - and they were so crowded that there is already a company seeing how to protect us from them. At the CES, autonomous vehicles are likely to appear for the general public as well as some specialized models for areas such as agriculture and health. Apart from all these things, CES 2017 will surely overflow with artificial intelligence. It's the theme of next year and everyone wants to get on the train, even if they do not know where it takes them. It seems that, now, all new products have to talk and adapt to our habits. We will also have to be attentive to the new Bluetooth headsets whose demand increased after Apple launched an iPhone without the traditional connector.

The mobile phones

It will appear but not so much because on February 27 will arrive the Mobile World Congress to Barcelona, an event dedicated to mobile devices. What we do know is that they will present a new model of Blackberry, true to the physical keyboards and that LG went ahead and already announced five new phones.
