Cha Tae Hyun might have spilled the beans about Kim Jong Kook's love life during the "2016 KBS Entertainment Awards."

According to Allkpop, the two actors were among the presenters at the awarding event. Upon taking the stage, Cha Tae Hyun immediately teased Kim Jong Kook and told him, "Shouldn't you get married? Are you not going to marry?"

Kim Jong Kook then answered that he will get married; however, Cha Tae Hyun insisted and continued to make fun of the singer saying, "How long are you going to keep lying to people? You seem like you have a girlfriend."

Surprised with Cha Tae Hyun's statement, Kim Jong Kook was left with nothing to say but, "Are you crazy?" The two presenters laughed it out, while Kim Jong Kook denied Cha Tae Hyun's accusation.

The 40-year-old singer and TV personality made his debut as a member of a duo called Turbo. The duo became popular for their unique and catchy music, yet, they disbanded years later.

Kim Jong Kook continued as a solo artist with the release of his debut album titled "Renaissance." On the other hand, his third album "This Is Me" sold over 300,000 copies, making it one of the best-selling albums in Korea.

In 2010, Kim Jong Kook joined the lineup of popular variety show "Running Man." The singer and TV personality was among the original cast of the SBS show. However, the show recently announced Kim Jong Kook's departure from the show alongside Song Ji Hyo.

To remember Kim Jong Kook's active participation in the show, Koreaboo has compiled some of the cast and crew members' thought on the idol. Cha Tae Hyun revealed his co-cast member is a cry baby, while a PD said Kim Jong Kook is aware of what other people has to say about him.

"Kim Jong Kook knows about all the bad things haters say about him but he tries his best not to think about it. He has a strong desire and amazing spirit, he works hard," the PD said.

The statement was supported by Kwangsoo who cited an example proving Kim Jong Kook is hard working. "I talked to him one time about the role he has in Running Man. I thought it'd be burdensome to take on the role of the tough, manly character."

"He told me that he needs to take responsibility for his own choices. He chose to be a part of Running Man, so he'll work hard to be the character he's supposed to be for the show."
