More than 3,000 SEVENTEEN supporters came to witness a fan signing event at Seoul Coex Live Plaza, which is part of the promotions of their third EP titled "Going Seventeen."

According to Allkpop, the fan signing event invited 100 fans, which were chosen through album lottery. However, over 3,000 supporters were in attendance to see the K-pop boy band. The huge number of people filled up the mall, making the fan signing event look like a concert show.

Reports stated SEVENTEEN mingled and communicated with their fans during the two and a half hours of "Going Seventeen" fan signing event. The third EP of the boy group was released on Dec. 5 with three different versions: "Make a Wish," "Make it Happen" and "Make the Seventeen."

Simultaneously, the thirteen-member group dropped the official music video of "BOOMBOOM," which earned them their first "Music Bank" win on Dec. 9, Soompi cited. SEVENTEEN competed with Heize's performance of "Star."

However, "BOOMBOOM" got the highest score with 7,252 points dominating the ranking. SEVENTEEN's Hoshi expressed his gratitude to their fans, company executives and staff members. On the other hand, Seungkwan acknowledged all the artists who performed on the "Music Bank" stage.

Further reports claimed SEVENTEEN's "Going Seventeen" has sold about 132,000 copies in less than a week. The mini-album dominated the several weekly charts including Hanteo's weekly chart and Gaon Chart's album chart for the 50th week of 2016.

Not only that the newest EP is making rounds locally, "Going Seventeen" also charted on Oricon's overall weekly chart where it landed on the fourth ranking and earned the top spot on the foreign album chart.

"SEVENTEEN is in the spotlight both domestically and overseas. Anticipation and interest continues to increase as the group's popularity grows at a rapid rate," a representative of Pledis Entertainment said.
