‘Ark Survival Evolved’ heads over to PS4, Xbox One receives Achievements content on next patch

"Ark Survival Evolved" PS4 has been confirmed to be available next week. Studio Wildcard also announced that a new update will be released to the Xbox One.

According to the game developer's announcement, "Ark Survival Evolved" will be included on the $55 "Ark: Survivor's" pack. The pack comes with the base game and the Scorched Earth extension.

PS4 exclusive items are also in store for players like Bionic Giganotosaurus skin and a Manticore armor set. It has been also said that the game is up-to-date meaning all recently contents will be accessible, Gamespot reported.

However, prospect buyers must note that "Ark Survival Evolve" is still in-development phase like the PC version's Early Access edition and Xbox One's Game Preview. The full version will be released to the PS4 console in 2017 while Xbox One and PC's full release is yet to be announced.

After the PS4 release date, "Ark Survival Evolve" will receive another update on the next patch to be released later this month. The new content will surely excite players as they have been clamoring for the addition of achievements option.

Reportedly, the next patch will also bring procedurally Generated ARK's, full set of new Xbox Achievements and rewards, all content up thru PC v252.0, and performance increase of approximately 7% due to the use of new PhysX libraries, according to the game's official site.

In addition, Studio Widlcard announced that there will be Extinction reset and will be relaunched as new maps can be played on the fresh server. After the said server restart new maps will be generated that will bring a new gaming experience to players. The expected release of this patch will be on December 13 or December 14.

"Ark Survival Evolved" PS4 will be officially launched on December 06.
