(Photo : YouTube/Artists news KFK) Cha Joo Hyuk debuted as member of the K-group CoEd School in 2010. Two years after his debut, Cha left the group and became an actor. He is one of the casts in JTBC's drama 'Happy Ending' in 2012.

Former CoEd School member and actor Cha Joo Hyuk is accused of alleged drug smuggling. The group is formed by Contents Media in 2010.

On Nov. 24, Cha and thirteen others have been arrested for using and selling drugs. According to the police, "Cha is admitting to most of the charges. After results from the National Forensic Service, he cannot deny a crime was committed," Allkpop cited.

However, Cha is currently not in detention. Also, the actor's case will be forwarded soon to prosecutors.

Earlier this August, it was reported that the actor was caught attempting to smuggle the drug Ketamine. Airport officials in Vancouver, Canada found the prescription anesthetic in his bag.

A prescription anesthetic drug, Ketamine is also used as a party drug. At high doses, users experience an effect referred to as "K-Hole," an "out of body" or "near death" experience.

According to Drug-free world, Ketamine has also been used as a "date-rape" drug. This is due to its dreamlike state it creates, making users difficult to move.

Also, several tests revealed that the actor had taken a variety of drugs. These includes marijuana, ecstasy, and Ketamine, in which some were found in his vehicle.

In 2010, Cha debuted as member of the K-group CoEd School. During that time, the actor used the stage name Kangho.

However, shortly after his debut, Cha was involved in a sex crime scandal and photos of him going to an adult entertainment facility despite being a minor swept up. Cha then left CoEd School the following year and became an actor, appearing in JTBC's "Happy Ending" in 2012.
