Madonna finally opens up about 15-year-old son being arrested for weed possession, saying it's a family matter and she asked people to respect their privacy. Rocco Ritchie, who is her son with Guy Ritchie was arrested in September after neighbours reported him for his suspicious behaviour.

Neihgbours reported him to the authorities due to his bad behaviour. His neighbours suspects that he was involved in drug activities with the way he has been acting around the upscale neighbourhood. When the police checked him out, they found cannabis in his rucksack, Celebsnow reported. He was caught with possession of weed at Primrose Hill, North London, which is close to his father's house where he lives.

Rocco managed to keep the incident under the wraps until Madonna opened up about it. After the arrest, he was brought to London police station and was bailed by Camden borough's Youth Offending Team, E! Online reported.

Through the "Triage" youth justice system, he will not have any criminal record for his first offense. But through this scheme, he has to undergo educational workshops to prevent him from being involved in such incidents again.

Rocco is undergoing a tough time with the public and controversial custody battle between Madonna and Guy Ritchie. The battle erupted when the young man opted not to live in the United States with his mother after living with his dad, who is a popular director from London.

New York Supreme Court already ruled that the youth should live with his mother, but Ritchie's attorney said the boy didn't want to go there. He refused to return home with his mother after going with Madonna in her UK tour. The judge asked the boy to talk to his mother about the issue.

There are some progress that somehow alleviated the tension between him and his mother during the span of the controversial custody battle, which as been going on for several months. Both parties reached an agreement that he can live with his father in London as long as she visits Madonna in the Holiday season. However, it is still clear that Madonna wants custody over her son posting nostalgic shots of her and her son in her social media account.
