"Exhausted!" This was Kris Jenner's answer, which she shouted to the person who asked about Kanye West's condition.

The Kardashians were at the Cipriani Wall Street for the 20th annual Angel Ball, when news about Kanye's hospitalization broke Monday, Vanity Fair reported. Inside the event, she gave a more solemn answer nodding her head as she said Kanye is good.

Kanye was hospitalized in Los Angeles a few hours after cancelling the rest of his Saint Pablo Tour, which was supposed to run until the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Kris Jenner also opened up about her daughter, saying that Kim Kardashian is taking one step at a time, US Magazine reported. The reality TV star, who is the wife of Kanye West, is taking a time out away from the spotlight after she was robbed at Paris on October 3.

Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian didn't give any comment on the issue of Kanye's hospitalization. They were most of the time seated at their tables and busy with their phones during the event.

The event aims to raise money for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, an organization that conducts research to develop better cancer treatments. That night, the event honored Robert Kardashian, who succumbed to cancer in 2003. The Kardashian brood was there to accept the award in their father's behalf.

Kim was earlier reported to attend the event, which would have been her big come back after she was robbed in Paris. But she wasn't able to attend perhaps due to Kanye's hospitalization.

There are reports saying that Kim is worried about Kanye. She was supposed to tag along Kanye for the rest of the concert dates, but the incident in Paris stressed her out. Touring without the support of his family could have taken its toll on Kanye, which is one of the suspected reasons for his hospitalization.

Kanye was brought to Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center Monday. He was at celebrity trainer Harley Pasternak's house in L.A. when an emergency was reported to the authorities. A few weeks before he was hospitalized, he ranted on stage against former collaborator Jay Z and Beyoncé.

He also subtly promoted the new President-Elect Donald Trump. He did all those on stage during his concert.
