Following the cliffhanger episode of "American Horror Story" Season 6 aired on Nov. 9, fans are expecting the season finale will unravel some mysteries, particularly on the murder of Mason.

Previously, Lee owned up the responsibility for the death of her husband through a confession recorded on a video tape. However, not even the confession guarantees Lee did the murder; hence, many are guessing she is covering for the real person behind Mason's death.

According to Variety, Lee was eager to get the video tape that stores her confession of the murder. However, Monet and Audrey were able to watch the content of the video and learned about Lee's admission.

After watching the video, Lee, who is possessed by the Butcher, shockingly showed up and killed Monet. Following the horror night at the house, cops found the dead bodies and Lee, who seemed unaware she has killed these bodies.

Meanwhile, Audrey fortunately survived the horror incident, however, she attempted to grab a cop's gun to shoot Lee when the police opened fire against her. Lee survived the incident, yet reports claimed it will not be easy for her character.

On the other hand, "American Horror Story" is confirmed for a seventh season according to Deadline. Reports suggested FX commended the works of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk, which led to the renewal of the TV series.

"Ryan, Brad and their team of remarkable writers have done an amazing job of keeping American Horror Story endlessly inventive, shocking and entertaining and we are honored to move ahead with them on the seventh installment," Landgraf announced last month.

Landgraf also expressed his gratitude to the people behind the success of "American Horror Story" after six seasons.
