On the Nov. 7 episode of "Abnormal Summit," actor Park Hae Jin revealed about his obsession with shoes and the reasons for collecting more than a thousand of them.

The "Cheese In The Trap" actor said his shoes are all over his house, adding that most of them are new and still unused. "When I go home, the shoes are inside the rooms and in the living room. They are all new shoes," he said as per Allkpop.

Park said he came from a family who is not financially stable, hence, his obsession with shoes began when he started earning his own money. "I started it initially as an emotional comfort. When I was young, my family's financial situation wasn't good. So, when I started working and could afford to buy one by one, I started to collect them," the actor revealed.

The actor even asked if it is a bad thing to collect 1,800 pairs of shoes, surprising everyone in the studio.

Meanwhile, Park recently addressed issues about his "questionable" past through his label, Mountain Movement Entertainment. Rumor has it that the Korean actor allegedly has worked as a host for an entertainment bar that caters women.

The "Cheese In The Trap" actor was even dragged to the current political scandal of Korea due to an old photo, where Park's lookalike appeared with Go Yeong Tae, a person allegedly involved in the political gaffe, Soompi reported.

Amid allegations, Park's label has finally released an official statement to deny any involvement of their artist in the controversy. "Actor Park Hae Jin is suffering from serious damage to his image as a celebrity due to being a suggested related keyword when searching for Go Yeong Tae and through various message boards," the label stated.

"These baseless rumors are not only hurting the actor but also fans. We will be taking aggressive measures against the spread of these baseless rumors for the sake of Park Hae Jin and fans."

Mountain Movement Entertainment also asked the fans to inform them of any false allegations about Park, who is currently filming for "Man to Man."
